April, 2016  Galilee Bible Camp Ladies' Retreat

The women of The Shepherd’s Home were challenged during a two day retreat, to “ Love Your #Selfie” when Carol McClain, of First Baptist Church Jacksboro, spoke at the Ladies Retreat at Galilee Bible Camp in Lafollette, Tennessee. Carol emphasized in her teaching that we are loved no matter what and that God’s love is a gift we cannot earn. God made each of us the way we are, giving us a personality and natural skills, just as he wanted us to be, in order to glorify God. Carol encouraged the women at the retreat to find and understand their own strengths and skills to use them to help and encourage others.
